A Comprehensive Program Led By Expert Trainers

The Virtual Learning Lab Program

Benefit from a comprehensive overview of Living Labs' key elements via a structured learning journey, including peer-to-peer interaction, flexible learning paths and professional guidance.

  • The program of our traditional Virtual Learning Lab consists of seven interactive lessons guiding you step by step to set up your own Living Lab. From there, you can choose your track: Self-Guided (learn independently at your own pace) or Live (learn alongside our trainers, with weekly live lessons).

  • Each lesson includes hands-on activities to apply the learnings and start building solid foundations for your Living Lab. You can work on your own case or on the case study designed by our experts, and submit your work through a dedicated space to receive tailored feedback.

  • In addition, each lesson includes access to a rich library of learning materials (videos, papers, publications, and practical tools) to turn Living Labs theory into real-world practice and deepen your knowledge about Living Labs.

  • Dedicated discussion forums will allow you to exchange with your trainers but also with your peers, allowing you to connect, share experiences and support each other throughout your learning journey.

  • At the end of the course, for learners joining in groups, you will have the unique opportunity to participate in a Mentoring Session with one of our Head Trainers, giving you the chance to gain practical tips and advices tailored to your own context and help you take the next step to create or enhance your Living Lab.

  • Certificates of Attendance and of Competence will be provided as a recognition of your mastery of Living Labs' essential components upon completion of all the lessons including a short assessment.

There are three ways to move through the Virtual Learning Lab. Two of them - self-paced learning and real-case group work - are available in both tracks. The third, fictional case group work, is only available in the Live Track.

1

Self-paced learning

Self-Guided Track
Live Track

If you prefer going through the lessons and the course materials independently without joining a team, this is the right path for you!
You will have access to the lessons, additional materials and home assignments, that you can follow along at your own pace.
On the Live Track, live lessons end with a Q&A to ask questions about the course content. On the Self-Guided Track, the pre-recorded lessons include subtitles in different languages. Finally, you will be able to use the course chat to connect with the community, ask questions, and share your work with your peer learners and trainers.

 Estimated workload: 24 hours minimum
For more details, please check the FAQ.
2

Real case group work

Self-Guided Track
Live Track

You are a team of at least 4 colleagues and want to work on your own case? Follow this path! You will prepare the hands-on activities with your colleagues based on your own real case study.
Enjoy access to all the course materials; and, for Live Track learners, the opportunity to attend the Q&As. Either way, you will have the chance to join a Group Mentoring Session to get personalised feedback. You will be able to use the course chat to connect with the community, ask questions and share your work with your peer learners and trainers.

 Estimated workload: 34 hours minimum
For more details, please check the FAQ.
3

Fictional case group work

Live Track

You would like to work with peer learners? If you follow this path, you will be matched with other participants to work on a fictional case. Each week, you will collaborate to complete the hands-on activities.
In addition to all the course materials and Q&As, this includes the occasion to participate in a Group Mentoring Session to receive tailored feedback on the work developed with your team. You will also have the opportunity to share your work with your peer learners and trainers, ask questions, and connect with the community using the course chat.

 Estimated workload: 32 hours minimum
For more details, please check the FAQ.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Self-Guided Track and the Live Track?

Both Tracks give you access to the eight (8) lessons, hands-on assignments, additional materials and Certificates.
On the Self-Guided Track, all lessons are pre-recorded and unlock consecutively the moment you register. You can go through them at your own pace and have access to all the materials for 3 months.
On the Live Track, your trainer will share the pre-recorded lessons and hands-on activities over Zoom, on a fixed weekly schedule. Each lesson will be followed by a live Q&A. All lessons and Q&As will be recorded for you to catch up if you miss one.

I am on the Self-Guided Track. Can I still get access to the live and Q&A sessions?

Yes! You can add live access at any time for EUR 150 (VAT excluded).

We run two live cohorts a year, in spring and autumn. If you add live access after the spring cohort has started, you can catch up on past sessions via recording, or wait to join live from the autumn cohort instead; and vice versa.

Will I receive an invoice?

An invoice will be sent to you by Stripe as a confirmation of your online purchase. Please note that ENoLL is unable to modify the invoice automatically generated by Stripe. If you wish to receive an official tax invoice, need the invoice issued to a specific organisation, or if you are an international or belgian entity, please reach out to us at capacitybuilding@enoll.org before proceeding with the payment.

When will the Live Lessons and Q&As take place?

Whether you want to clarify a concept, explore a topic more deeply or ask any other questions, our trainers are here to support you. The live lessons followed by a Q&A session are designed to help you navigate the content of our lessons rather than providing you with feedback over your exercises.

There will be seven (7) live lessons followed by Q&A sessions in total and a final Q&A session, spread over eight (8) weeks:
  • Tuesday 20 October 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET
  • Tuesday 27 October 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET
  • Tuesday 3 November 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET
  • Tuesday 10 November 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET
  • Tuesday 17 November 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET
  • Tuesday 24 November 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET
  • Tuesday 1 December 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET
  • Tuesday 8 December 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET

To join the lessons, all you have to do is click on the Zoom link from the Academy!

What if I can't attend all lessons live?

All lessons including Q&As are recorded and available to all participants following the Live Track until the 31 January 2026. The hands-on exercises are provided to all participants to complete between lessons and the Academy is designed to facilitate interaction and networking between participants even outside of the live lessons.
Participation in the live lessons is valuable, but not mandatory.

What if I can't attend any of the live Q&A sessions?

No problem! All live Q&A sessions will be recorded and made available in the Academy for you to watch at your convenience. You will also be able to ask questions using the chat options within the Academy, so you won’t miss the opportunity to engage or get support.

Can I attend with colleagues?

Yes! You can join with your colleagues. If you are minimum four (4) to participate as a team in the learning journey. It means that all of you can complete the home assignments together as a team and work on your own real case, rather than completing the same assignment individually for each person.
However, please note that the registration to the Virtual Learning Lab is personal: you will have to purchase as many tickets as you have persons attending from the team.

What is the expected workload?

The course is self-paced and includes 8 pre-recorded core sessions, each lasting 1 to 1.5 hours. These sessions feature practical, hands-on exercises that you can complete on your own time. You should plan to dedicate 2 to 3 hours per session to watch the videos, reflect on the content, and complete the assignments. Some exercises may require additional time, especially if you are applying them to your own Living Lab case or working as a team.

To support deeper learning, the Academy provides a wide range of optional extra resources—including videos, readings, and case studies—offering dozens of hours of additional content. These are ideal for participants who want to explore specific topics in more depth or further develop their Living Lab practice.

The course also includes 8 live Q&A sessions (1.5 hours each), where you can ask questions and interact with trainers and peers. If you are following Path 2 or 3, you will also be invited to a final 1-hour Group Mentoring Session for more personalised feedback and guidance.

In total, depending on the depth of your engagement, we recommend setting aside 3 to 6 hours per week to follow the course, complete the exercises, and make the most of the learning opportunities available.

What is the registration deadline?

There is no registration deadline for the Self-Guided Track. As for the live track, you can register until the start of the course on 5 October 2026. Keep in mind that limited number of seats are available for the live track, get yours before they run out!

What kind of certificate is provided at the end?

Upon completion of the course, participants from both tracks will receive a Certificate of Attendance as confirmation of their participation in the course. This certificate is personal and is issued to each participant individually. It does not require completing any exams or receiving a final score.

If you would like to demonstrate your understanding of the course content, you can choose to complete a final assessment. Participants who achieve a score above 70 percent will be awarded a Certificate of Competence.

Please note that this course does not certify your Living Lab. If you are interested in certifying your Living Lab, you can find more information about the process and how to become an ENoLL member here: https://enoll.org/about-us/how-to-become-a-member

What platform / programs do I need to use during the course?

The weekly sessions will be released directly on the ENoLL Academy - where you are right now. You will be able to join the Q&A sessions directly on the ENoLL Academy and they will be hosted on Zoom.
All hands-on exercise will be performed in MIRO. MIRO allows you to use it from your browser without the need to register or downloading any additional programs. However, registering allows you to save your work in your personal profile, thus allowing for easier access in the future. If this is the first time you will be using MIRO, we highly recommend you to check their guide for beginners here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNNPchRnDp8&ab_channel=Miro

Should I join as an individual or as a team?

Team discounts are available from a minimum of 4 participants.

When joining as a team your learning journey will follow Path 3 and be designed for your team in a way that the assignments during the live sessions will be completed within your team.

Can I combine multiple discount codes?

Discount codes can't be combined unless explicitly stated otherwise. If more than one code applies to your registration, ENoLL will automatically apply the highest available discount.

Do both tracks count towards the Accepted to Grow membership requirements?

Yes! Both the Self-Guided Track and the Live Track count towards the mandatiory Virtual Learning Lab training requirement.

Attending the Living Lab training with ENoLL was an absolute delight! Throughout the training, I gained valuable knowledge and practical skills that have greatly enriched my understanding of the Living Lab concept, and had the opportunity to connect with like-minded people from different backgrounds, expertise and regions having the same purpose: learn and launch the concept of Living Labs in their projects. The interactive nature of the sessions and the opportunity to collaborate with fellow participants made the learning process enjoyable and engaging.
