This hands-on online training series focuses on the practical 'operationalisation' of Living Labs, moving beyond theoretical or unstructured implementation to functional execution.
Through three live sessions of 2.5 hours each, we will explore how to establish clear operational workflows, robust governance models and effective resource management strategies, all essential steps for activating and running a Living Lab.

Session 1: My Living Lab in context - needs analysis and ecosystem diagnosis

17 November 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM CET
In this session, you will map the ecosystem and analyse your own territorial context to set the baseline for your Living Lab. The purpose is to conduct an initial identification and analysis of the reality you are in, to be able to build on this in the next sessions.

Session 2: Strategic framework, methodologies and governance

24 November 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM CET
In this session, you will cover key topics such as the impact-driven approach, governance models and principles and values, but also deep dive in key methodologies such as co-creation, backcasting and interactive definition of services for the common good.

Session 3: The Operational Roadmap

1 December 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM CET
Co-design a concrete 2-year operational plan to operationalise your Living Lab and translate strategy into a timeline of activities and resource management.

When will the live sessions take place?

There will be three (3) live sessions of 2.5 hours each. The sessions will take place on the:

What if I can't attend one of the live sessions?

We strongly believe the key strength and impact of the training come from the live, interactive group experience, that is why the three live sessions will not be recorded.
However, participants will be provided with comprehensive post-session materials to be able to easily review what was covered during the lesson.

Can I attend with colleagues?

Yes absolutely! You can join with colleagues. The training aims to provide practical tools and insights into the logistics, legal frameworks and management tools needed to run the day-to-day operations of a Living Lab effectively. Coming with your colleagues will allow you to learn and work together, and leave with actionable insights to strengthen enhance your Living Lab.

What is the expected workload?

The training includes three (3) live sessions of 2.5 hours each, for a total of 7.5 hours. We recommend setting aside some additional time between sessions to review key concepts, go over the additional materials, and prepare for the next module, as each session builds on the previous one.
Overall, you should expect a workload of approximately 10 hours.

When is the registration deadline?

Registration close on 10 November 2026, one week before the start of the training.

What kind of certificate is provided at the end?

A certificate of participation will be provided at the end of the training to participants who attend all three live sessions.

What platform/programs do I need to use during the course?

The live sessions will be hosted on Zoom. You will be able to join the Zoom sessions directly through the ENoLL Academy - where you are right now.
